Three Little Babies

Guinea Pig Babies are the best!

On Tuesday morning, my husband woke me to tell me of the birth of the babies.  I jumped out of bed to see three darling little babies.  Little Jessie was little again and tending to her young.  Tater was attentive to each one of them.  They must have come just a few hours prior to 7:00am.  Each one appeared to be in perfect health.  Tow little ones looked just like Tater and the third mostly white and looking like her mother.

I was very pleased to see the happy little family.  Unfortunately, Tater had to be separated form his lady for three days to insure that he would not work on the second batch of youngsters.  He was not pleased with this but I did grant him SUPERVISED visitations.  Every time he visited, he was so good with the babies.  He would go inside his igloo only to be followed by Jessie and the babies.  They managed to all squeeze in there but one baby usually jump on top of them  to fit.

The babies began to eat hay on day one.  By day two they were enjoying carrots and guinea pig pellets.

Squeaks are like music to my ears.  It is a soft melodic rhythm as they scurry about.

Jessie allows me be to pick them up and weigh them why loving them at the same time.  Jessie knows that I will protect them.  Day by day I hope that they will become rather comfortable in my arms.  I won't them to each have a good life. Tim does to but do not mention this.  It is his secret. LOL
